We are excited to share with you a truly special initiative: our dear friend Donatella Ricci — pilot and tireless ambassador of gyro flight — is celebrating the 10th anniversary of an extraordinary achievement accomplished aboard her MagniGyro M16.

📅 In 2015, Donatella reached the sky by climbing to an altitude of 8,399 meters, setting the World Altitude Record in a gyroplane 🌍 — a milestone that continues to inspire pilots and enthusiasts all over the world!

To mark this occasion, Donatella is organizing a wonderful commemorative event. Here’s how you can take part and celebrate this important milestone too!

OPTION 1: 🎥 JOIN WITH YOUR “IN-FLIGHT” VIDEO

Hop on board and record a short video (max 10 seconds, vertical format) following these instructions: 5 seconds showing the outside view to let us see where you are flying ✈️, and 5 seconds of you on camera sharing a message of congratulations for Donatella!
📅 Video submission deadline: by 6 November 2025

All contributions will be edited into a single celebratory video, which will be shown during the event on 8 November.

☁️ OR… “WRITE” THE RECORD IN THE SKY!
For those who enjoy creative challenges, there’s an alternative idea: draw the number 8399 in flight and send Donatella a screenshot of the track from FlightRadar24, along with your flight’s departure and arrival details.
